Joslyn O’Connor-Bear

Joslyn grew up in Orlando and after graduating from the IB program at Winter Park High School, attended Harvard where she obtained her Bachelors in Biology, cum laude. At both Winter Park and Harvard, Joslyn was a leader on the schools’ crew teams, rowing her boat at Winter Park to a state title and her boat at Harvard to nationals.

After graduating from Harvard, Joslyn moved to California to attend Long Beach State. While there, she obtained a Masters in exercise science. After working in that field for a few years, Joslyn committed herself to a career in nursing and graduated from UCF with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then her Masters in Nursing. While working towards her Masters in Nursing, Joslyn worked as a RN on the trauma step-down unit at Orlando Regional Medical Center and also as a RN on the Acute Pediatric Unit at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

After obtaining her Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license with ACCC Board Certification, Joslyn committed the first four years of her practice to working in Federally Qualified Health Centers providing care to patients who had no insurance, were under-insured, or were on Medicaid. She then moved to a high volume primary care practice in Lake Mary.

Joslyn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Bear Legal Solutions and provides us a unique ability to evaluate medical issues which most law firms would be speculating on.
